Peter Murray was a Police Officer for some twenty five years during which time he served in the Divisional CID, Serious Crime Squad and Special Branch where he was involved in Counter Terrorism operations. He was also attached to a specialist Home Office post for three years.
Following his retirement from the Police in 1998 he joined a leading Risk Management Organisation as its Business Development Manager/Security Consultant and later was appointed as a National Licensing Manager for a large retail chain with specific responsibility for over 2300 shops throughout England, Scotland and Wales.
He is an accomplished Author having written a best selling book for the British Standards Institute on Information Security sold worldwide and he is also recognised as a Security expert having appeared on both Radio and National/International Television News providing commentary on a wide range of Security issues.
Peter is married with two adult children and has four Grandchildren.
